We are excited to announce that Mr. Nakamura Takaki will be joining One&Co as our adviser. Takaki is the Executive Director (Partnerships Team) of Vertex Holdings, a Singapore-based venture capital investment holding company.

I have been supporting the innovation and business transformation of Japanese companies by connecting them with startups around the world. I believe that innovation happens when different knowledge, skills and experiences are exchanged through human-touch conversations and I feel that it is essential to have a comfortable “place” to mingle and to talk freely with psychological safety. In that regard, One&Co is the perfect place. One&Co has helped me many times in the past and I wanted to return something back, so I decided to become an advisor. The future is an era of partnerships – we should partner together regardless of companies, such that we can co-create something of value more quickly. There is not much that I can do on my own, but I desire to leverage my humble network to provide new value to everyone who comes to One&Co, so please feel free to come and visit us. Takaki Nakamura
Executive Director, Partnerships Group, Vertex Holdings
Prior to joining Vertex, he worked at Accenture Strategy as a strategist and at Sojitz (a Japanese trading and investment firm) as an inhouse financial advisor, very much dedicated to cross-border M&A and business development projects. In 2019, he joined Vertex Holdings as a leader of the Japan Team. He has written and lectured extensively for platforms such as KEIDANREN (Japan Business Federation), JCCI, TECHBLITZ and other organisations. As the Executive Director of the Partnerships team, he designs and coordinates new partnerships by being a catalyst between (potential and present) LPs and Vertex portfolio companies. Currently, he leads a newly created team that focuses on Japanese corporates. Many of them aspire to innovate and transform themselves by collaborating and co-creating with the startups, and he is playing an instrumental role to accelerate this momentum.
In his private life, he enjoys time with his family and playing football with friends.
