Advisor Announcement — Mr. Takahisa Ohira

At One&Co, the coworking space opened by JR East in Singapore, we strive to be the business platform to connect Japan and Singapore. We are excited to announce that Mr. Takahisa Ohira will be joining One&Co as our adviser. Mr. Ohira is an expert in startup support in Asia and consultant for new business creation and development for large corporations.

A message from Mr. Ohira
My first encounter with One&Co was on 19 September 2019, shortly after it opened.
I had the opportunity to have a chat with Mr. Ito when I visited One&Co, then an up-and-coming coworking space in Singapore. I had a feeling that there will be great chemistry between my current and future plan and what Mr. Ito, the director of One&Co, was thinking of.
Of course, One&Co is a wonderful space to work in, but what makes One&Co truly remarkable is that it is not just a space to work in; there are also people who gather there and the collaboration that is created through the interaction. I believe that the greatness of One&Co is to be able to meet the wonderful people who gather here.
Of course, COVID-19 has changed the world. Many things may not return to the way they were before. But I believe that what happens from an accidental encounter, like those which happen everyday in One&Co, will continue to be of value in the future. I am proud to be an advisor to One&Co. If you come here, the gears will start to move and something will happen. As an advisor, I hope to contribute to the Startup ecosystem in Singapore and Southeast Asia by developing this wonderful space full of opportunities.
