Advisor Announcement — Mr. Koichi Saito

At One&Co, the coworking space opened by JR East in Singapore, we strive to be the business platform to connect Japan and Singapore. We are excited to announce that Mr. Koichi Saito will be joining One&Co as our adviser.

Mr Saito agrees with our mission of not just offering the workspace, but connecting people and expanding networks through One&Co. We can’t wait to witness the new collaboration and meeting with new people through Mr. Saito’s network.

Message from Mr. Saito
In 2017, with the acquisition of Spacemob (a Singapore-based co-working startup) by Wework, multiple players entered the business and the market quickly became a Red Ocean. However, most competitors were limited to adding value through design and capital investment, and there was no system to promote communication among co-working space users. On the other hand, One&Co is based on the concept of co-creation and community-building amongst its users. I believe that this kind of community will become even more relevant in the future as the value of real-life encounters increases after COVID-19. I am a venture capitalist with experience in discovering investment targets and partnerships, many of them through accidental encounters. I have become an advisor to One&Co in the hopes that I can contribute to the innovation of local and Japanese companies by utilising my own startup network and knowledge of the Southeast Asian market. Please feel free to talk to me when you see me. I look forward to meaningful conversations at One&Co.
