Shinsuke Ikeuchi is a contemporary artist based in Tokyo, known for his work in both metalwork and sculpture. He began his journey as a metal sculptor in 2003 and has since expanded his artistic endeavours to include sculpture. His art revolves around the concept of “colour”, a fundamental element that allows him to express his life story and emotions. Through his work, he aims to convey the power and allure of colour and the innovation that comes from combining different materials.

Born in Fukuoka in 1984, Shinsuke Ikeuchi is a self-taught metal sculptor. Alongside his career as a metal sculptor, he has explored the possibilities of expression in two and three dimensions, establishing himself as a contemporary artist. His mixed media works, incorporating special resin, capture the fluid texture inherent in metal while transforming inorganic materials into organic and tactile forms. His style represents the expansion of the source energy of life and its origins, using materials such as pewter and silver to create unique mixed media artworks.
