JR-EAST, the owner of One&Co, and JTC, a Singapore government company, have signed a MOU.

Looking ahead to the next 100 years, JR-EAST, the owner of One&Co, has signed a memorandum of understanding with JTC, a Singapore government company, to accelerate the development of Takanawa Gateway City in Tokyo.

We will work together to make the “City” being developed in both countries more advanced, attractive and sustainable.

A new city emerges in Takanawa Gateway
This city is an experimental playground where we create ways to lead a fulfilled life a century into the future. Once the prosperous gateway to Edo (now known as Tokyo), it was here during the Meiji era (1868-1912) that innovators created railways that traveled across the sea. Boasting outstanding access from both inside Japan and abroad, the Takanawa Gateway area overflows with potential—a gateway to the future.
Our concept is a Global Gateway, a base of international exchange that continuously inspires the birth of new culture and business. Collaborating with our partners to create and experiment, we will continue to further evolve this city, and realize the full potential of our Global Gateway.
