On August 10th at 7:00 PM, the third edition of the Web3 Meetup “W3M” took place. We had the honor of hosting prominent figures at the forefront of the Global x Web3 space, including Mr. Sota Watanabe, Mr. Ryo Matsubara, and Attorney Kazutaka Mori. Co-organized by Docomo Asia, Aliba Studio (VC), One&Co (Co-Working Space), and JETRO Singapore, the event concluded with great success.
W3M was launched in May 2023 as a platform for startups, investors, professionals, and general businesses in Singapore interested in Web3 technology to network and explore ways to integrate Web3 into their operations and create new business opportunities.
The key highlights of the event were as follows:
・A keynote speech by Attorney Kazutaka Mori from One Asia on the trends of Web3 in Japan, Singapore, and Dubai.
・A presentation by Mr. Sota Watanabe from Startale on Web3 initiatives and collaborations with businesses.
・An introduction by Mr. Ryo Matsubara from Oasys on BCG’s involvement in Web3 and current trends.
・Networking session.

We are excited to announce that the next W3M event is scheduled for September and will also serve as a side event for TOKEN2049. Anticipation for the upcoming event is greatly encouraged.
